Shine4U Records is excited to announce the release of Richard ‘Ricky’ Palmer’s latest single, ‘You've got a friend.’ The song is Richard's version of the track from Disney's Encanto.
The single will be released on World Mental Health Day, 10th October by the Shine4U Record label and distributed worldwide by Horus Music. 'You've got a friend' by Richard 'Ricky' Palmer is available on all major digital platforms including Spotify and iTunes.

You've got a friend in support of suicide prevention
Richard "Ricky" Palmer is set to release "You’ve got a friend" on World Mental Health Day, 10th
October, to raise awareness of suicide prevention. Proceeds from the single will be used to
support the charitable organisation, Let’s get talking about suicide.
Suicide prevention is close to the performer’s heart, and he states, ‘I wanted to record a song that really reaches out to anyone struggling with thoughts of
suicide.’
Richard has worked with several musicians to produce the single, collaboratively known as The Shine4U Project.
"You’ve got a friend" is a reinterpreted version of the Carole king classic hit from the 1970’s. This new rendition by the Portsmouth-based singer-
songwriter revitalizes the classic song, introducing it to a fresh audience that may not be familiar with the original.
